Hajj operation to be completed tomorrow

Lahore—Hajj operation from the provincial capital will be completed on Sunday (September 4) as the last flight will depart from Allama Iqbal International Airport.
It was stated by Hajj Director Saeed Ahmad Malik while talking to APP here Friday. Almost 13,000 people left for Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj from Lahore under the government scheme, while more than 15,000 pilgrims departed for Hajj this year under private hajj scheme.
Saeed Malik said that the post-Hajj operation, of bringing pilgrims back home, is expected to start from September 17 and which will continue till October 17.
The national flag carrier Pakistan international Airline would complete its operation to send as many as 50,000 pilgrims, or around a third of total Pakistani pilgrims.—APP
