Greenwich University holds Independence Day celebrations

Greenwich University organized a colorful event to celebrate 71st independence day of the country, on Tuesday.
The event was attended by eminent personalities of the city, diplomats from various countries besides large number of students, teachers and employees of the university.
The ceremony commenced with flag hoisting by Vice Chancellor, Seema Mughal and followed by singing of national anthem by all the participants.
Tableau, skits, milli naghme and speeches by the students were part of the celebrations, said press release on Wednesday.
The diplomats included from China, Mauritius, Iran, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Vietnam, Russia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Seema Mughal, on this occasion, called upon the youth to dedicate their services for the betterment of the country.
For fulfilling the vision of Founder-of-the-Nation, we should follow the principle of unity, faith and discipline.
