Hafizabad—State Minister for National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination, Saira Afzal Tarar has said that present government is committed to eliminate all fatal diseases including Polio from the country and concrete steps are being taken in this regards.
She alongwith DCO M.A. Rjwana today visited the Rural Health Centre Kolo Tarar and directed the medical officer and paramedical staff to ensure better heath care to the patients.
She said that provision of quality healthcare facilities to the masses throughout country was top priority of the government.
She said that government was striving to ensure provision of cheap and standard medicines to the masses. She said that prices of medicines of hepatitis had been reduced to great extent and available throughout the country in abundance.
Replying to a question, she said that steps were being taken to provide all sorts of facilities in Trauma Centre Hafizabad including appointment of doctors and other staff and installation of necessary equipments. She said that the centre would be made functional shortly.
