Govt to enforce law to stop those who will try to interfere in official business:Pervaiz

Karachi—Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that it is duty of the Government to ensure normal life in Islamabad in the face of threats of its blockade. He said the government will stop those who will try to interfere in official matters in Islamabad by following the existing laws. He said the decisions should be made in court, adding that if decisions would be made on roads could harm Pakistan. He said that if Imran Khan and Aitzaz Ahsan have any kind of evidence in regards of a meeting they are talking about, they should present such evidences to the court of law or to the investigating organizations concerned. He said that Imran Khan and Aitzaz Ahsan are raising fingers on government in the pretext of meeting and questioned that why don’t they raise fingers on Chief Ministers of their parties presented in the meeting. He said Imran Khan and Aitzaz Ahsan should remember that the chief minister ministers belonging to their parties were present during the meeting of which the news was leaked. He said the report of the matter would be presented before the media after completion of investigations.
Responding to questions by newsmen in Karachi on Monday he said citizens of Islamabad are also demanding that their routines should not be allowed to be disturbed.
He said the Government would act as per law if any attempt was made to disturb lives of the people in Islamabad.
He said that there is history of conspiracy always taking place against Prime Ministers in our country always in the month of October since 1951 to date and said that Imran Khan is continuity of such conspiracies. He said Liaquat Ali Khan who had made his fist as a symbol of unity of Pakistani nation against India was killed in Liaqatabad in 1951 while he was waving his fist to the crowds, similarly Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed was attacked in month of October in Karachi in which so many innocent people were killed. He said the government of elected prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was also toppled down in October 1999.
He said that PTI Chief is doing Nadir Shah like politics and want to encroach the power through attacks. He said that the politics on roads could cause anarchy and damage to the country and said that all the democratic forces of the country will fail such subversive activities.
He said that it is the prime responsibility of the government to ensure routine life in the Islamabad therefore who so ever tried to interfere in government affairs will be dealt with as per law.
To a question he said that Supreme Court has summoned all the parties including Imran Khan in the court in November on Panama issue.—SABAH
