Govt to serve nation with mega dev projects

Mushahidullah Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan Tuesday said that Pakistan Muslim League (N) led government was fully committed to serve the nation with start of mega development projects in the country. Speaking on a motion in the upper house of the parliament, he said that former Prime Minister Muhammed Nawaz Sharif had made strong foreign policy for the country and initiated other major steps to change the life of common man.
He said that other provinces like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh should follow the policies of Punjab province to improve the health and other infrastructures of their respected provinces. He said that Nawaz Sharif during his tenure as Prime Minister had initiated several schemes for uplift of people. Leader of the Opposition Senator Aitzaz Ahsan urged for proper investigation on the matter of sale of Jet Airbus 310 at the throwaway prices by PIA.
Senator Chaudhry Saud Majeed said that parliamentarians should avoid personal criticisms and play role to strengthen the parliament. He said that any one who was weakening the parliament should stop doing so. He said that the PML-N government had improved the economic structure of the country and make it at par with the other rising economies of the world.
He said that the country was facing several internal and external threats and urged not to be part of any conspiracy in order to weak the country.—APP
