PM personally overseeing issue of RAW agent: Pervaiz
Faisalabad—Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was personally overseeing the issue of Indian spy’s arrest from Balochistan.
Talking to media after addressing a ceremony of Union of Journalists here on Sunday, he said the Indian secret service was operating in Pakistan with an aim to halt progress in the country. He said Indian High Commissioner was summoned at the Foreign Office and was informed about the details which were gathered by the intelligence agencies of Pakistan about the RAW gent.
He said the National Action Plan against terrorists is being implemented with coordinated efforts in the country.
Pervaiz Rashid categorically rejected the allegations of arrest of RAW’s agents from Sharif family’s sugar mill in Chiniot.
Pervaiz Rashid said that such kinds of allegations are being levelled by the people who did not want to see progress in country.
Rashid said PML-N and Nawaz Sharif know how to face sit-ins, long marches, conspiracies, agents of RAW and those who are speaking the language of RAW.
He said the officers and cops of Pakistan army have rendered great sacrifices in war against terrorism, adding that Beijing, Washington, Moscow, Kabul, New Delhi and other capitals of world are appreciating these sacrifices. He said the treason case against Musharraf is in progress and government will implement orders of the court.
Rashid said that the names of the arrested persons should be disclosed.
The minister said that opponents of Nawaz Sharif who could not see the progress of the country and want to bring country back in the era of 2013 were levelling such kind of allegations.
He said the people who want to deprive Pakistan of the successes achieved during the 2013 to 2016 are levelling such kinds of allegations. He said media is repeating these allegations while making them question.
Pervaiz said these allegations are false and baseless and there is no reality in these allegations. He said this kind of allegations are being levelled against a person who carried out six nuclear blasts and contested the case of Kashmir at the United Nations bravely, adding that these questions are being raised by the people who want restoration of 2013 like bomb blasts in country.
He said these allegations are being levelled by those people who were saying the dollar would reach Rs 150 but due to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s steps the rate of dollar was stopped at Rs 104. He said prime minister stopped devaluation of Pakistani currency.
He said these allegations were being levelled by the people who have left behind 24-hour long load-shedding in the country, adding that the load shedding is decreasing and electricity is being provided to industry 24 hours.
He said our investigations say that the RAW is working in Pakistan to stop progress, adding that on the other hand the questions are being raised to stop the progress of country. Rashid said who are the agents of RAW those who have put the country on the path of progress or those who are raising questions on the progress of country.
Rashid said all the clauses of national action plan are being implemented and action has been taken against hate speeches and misuse of loud speaker has been stopped.
The Information Minister said that the people of Karachi have celebrated last Independence Day and Eid without fear. He said that inflation rate has been decreased in country in the result of the steps of the government.
He said the constitution of Pakistan was prepared by the elders of the parties who gathered on Saturday in Lahore. He said Mufti Mehmood, Shah Ahmed Noorani, Prof Ghafoor Ahmed and other people had signed the constitution. He said that no law could be formed in country against the constitution. Rashid said burying daughters alive is against Islam, adding that it is my responsibility to protect our daughters, sisters and mothers.
Rashid said that no crisis would emerge after the departure of Pervez Musharraf to foreign country, adding that the case will move forward and it is the right of the court and government will follow the orders of the court.
