Govt making efforts to introduce new curricula

Islamabad—The Federal government is making all out efforts to introduce modern curricula in the education sector which will be competable with an international standards.
In this regard, a “Three Day Workshop on Development of National Curriculum Framework” has been organized here by the Ministry of Education and Professional Training from July 13 to 15.
The competent educational experts in different subjects from all over the country are attending the workshop to finalize the new curricula for the educational institutions of Pakistan.
Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Engr Muhammad Baligh Ur Rahman directed the educational professionals who participated in the workshop to pay maximum attention on the characterization of the students in the new curriculum.
The minister also asked the professionals to utilize their expertise and finalize a curricula according to the constitution of Pakistan. The minister told APP, that the federal government was playing a leading role for development of education sector in the country.
He said the government was spending a hefty amount for bringing education sector at par with international level. The minister said that the education ministry, was organizing regularly training sessions for the teachers aims at improving education standard.—APP
