Visits DHQs hospital sans protocol in private wagon

Hafizabad—Chief Minster Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has visited District Headquarters Hospital, Hafizabad, surprisingly without protocol riding on a private wagon on Monday afternoon.
He visited different departments of the hospital including emergency, nursery ward, labour room, operation theater, and main store etc. He expressed his resentment over unhygienic condition of the hospital and inspected the operation theater to get break locks of theater.
He admonished hospital administration for not providing medicines to patients who lodged various complaints about lake of healthcare facilities in the hospital. He directed the district administration and hospital administration to ensure provision of medicines and other health-care to patients.
He ordered to seal medical store of the hospital due to incomplete record and directed to take deterrent action against concerned staff.
Later, Chief Minister visited Computerized Land Record Centre and asked questions about performance of the centre and attitude of the centre staff.
Chief Minister said on this occasion that government is committed to provide maximum relief to common men and government is taking different result-oriented measures in this regard. Chairman Press Club Hafizabad Imtiaz Ahmad Taj has presented a request for establishment of journalist colony and special grant for the Press Club.
