An official privy to this development said on the condition on anonymity that Punjab government has introduced central induction policy for post graduation in medical universities and teaching hospitals to ensure transparency at the time of admission. A web based online application system has been introduced with the name of Punjab Residency Program he said adding that more than 1100 applicants have applied and 730 slots have been identified in public teaching hospitals for FCPS training.
