Multan—Punjab Governor Muhammad Rafique Rajwana inaugurated ‘Spring Hospital’ to provide treatment facility to mentally ill patients here on Sunday.
Addressing the ceremony, the governor urged philanthropists and other business tycoons to help promote corporate social culture to serve the masses in the fields of education, health and others.
The work on the district headquarters hospital and institute of kidney disease were in progress with a rapid pace in the city, he said. An addition of 600 beds was also being ensured at the Nishtar hospital which would resolve health related problems, he added.
The Spring Hospital would serve people amicably, Rajwana said and added that it would be developed to level of an institute very soon. He also urged people to pay more attention towards mentally upset patients to make them useful citizens, adding that such people should be given proper attention.—APP
