Governor, CM urged to take notice of LUMHS student’s disappearance

The Sindh University Teachers Association (SUTA) has requested the Governor and Chief Minister Sindh to take notice of the disappearance of a medical student who is also a daughter of Sindh University’s professor.
The SUTA’s President Dr Azhar Ali Shah here Thursday appealed the Governor and the CM for immediate recovery of the missing Noureen Jabbar, a second year student of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro.
According to Dr Shah, Noureen left home for the university on February 10 and did not return. An initial report of her disappearance, followed by a recent registration of an FIR, were lodged at Hussainabad police station in Hyderabad.
The SUTA’s President also urged the media and civil society organizations to highlight the case for safe and immediate recovery of Noureen.—APP
