Governor, Chief Minister discuss development projects in province

Lahore—Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met the Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana here on Wednesday.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and development projects in the province of Punjab were discussed.
Punjab Governor felicitated the Chief Minister on the public-friendly provisional budget for next fiscal year 2016-17.
He said that the Punjab government has presented a balanced budget for the welfare of the masses. He also appreciated the steps which have been taken by the government for the provision of better facilities to the people in Ramazan Bazaar.
The Punjab Chief Minister said on the occasion that new era of progress will start in the province due to development programs of five hundred fifty billion rupees.
He said that government has allocated billion of Rupees for Agriculture, Education, and Health sector and record resources have been provided for the betterment of social sectors.
Shehbaz said a huge amount of one hundred seventy three billion rupees has been allocated for the welfare of people of Southern Punjab.
He said that more funds have been provided for the progress of Southern Punjab, as compared to past. He said PML (N)’s motto is to serve the nation and provide relief to the public.
