Chairperson, Pakistan Red Crescent-Sindh Chapter, Mrs. Farzana Naek called on Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair, who is President of Society, and presented a brief report of activities carried out by PRCS in Sindh which were appreciated by the Governor.
PRC-Sindh Provincial Secretary Kanwar Waseem was also present, said PRCS release here on Friday. The Governor highly appreciated the contribution of PRC-Sindh chapter towards humanitarian activities and said that during recent years, the role of PRCS-Sindh has taken a new dimension through the expansion of its services rural and urban areas in the field of disaster management and health.
The mitigation of human suffering could rightly be treated as the most noble and highly selfless activities which was the main motto of this society.
He also admired the leadership of Chairperson Mrs. Naek and assured his full support to the society, the statement said.
Earlier, PRC-Sindh Chairperson Mrs. Naek congratulated and welcomed Muhammad Zubair on his appointment as Governor of Sindh and the President of PRC-Sindh Branch and also hoped that the newly appointed Governor would pay special attention to the issues of Karachi as well as other districts of Sindh to reduce the suffering of vulnerable people.
