Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali said on Monday the incumbent government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was making endeavors to transform Pakistan into a dynamic and most vibrant economic state of the world. Addressing a meeting of city council chairmen, he said the PML-N had a credit to launch maximum development projects which were being completed in a transparent manner.
He said that people had also recognized the fact and it was in this respect that they were supporting the PML-N in by-elections as well as the local bodies elections. He criticized the political rivals and said that as a responsible opposition, they had failed to play their positive role and hence, they would be rejected in the coming general elections.
The minister said that politics of protests, sit-ins and exploitation had become redundant and the people would evaluate the performance of not only the government but also the opposition in a fair and balanced manner. He said that he had fulfilled almost all election promises and was ready to face the people in polls. —APP
