KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan on Monday witnessed downward trend in line with decreasing global prices.
According to Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs500 to settle at Rs243,900 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold declined by Rs429 to settle at Rs209,105 in domestic market of Pakistan.
The precious commodity saw slight decrease in international market as per ounce price dropped by $2 to close at $2,335.

On Saturday, gold rates in Pakistan moved down after hitting all-time high above Rs250,000 per tola earlier in the session amid soaring rates in international market.
Data shared by Sarafa association shows Rs600 drop per tola and the new rates stands at Rs244,400.
Meanwhile, the price of 10-gram bullion saw losses of around Rs514, with new price hovering around Rs209,534.
