Ghani pays surprise visit to govt run hospitals


Karachi—Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Labour and HR Senator Saeed Ghani paid surprise visit to Social Security Hospital Landhi Industrail area, CMO City Circle office and Valika Hospital here Friday.
He checked the attendance of doctors, paramedical staff and inspected the OPD, Medical ward, Operation Theater, ICU and Emergency Wards of these hospitals and listened to the complaints of the patients and directed the hospital administrations to resolve their problems on urgent basis.
Coordinator to Advisor Labour Muhammad Khan Abro, Director Procurement Akram Shaikh, Director Engineering Azhar Zahir and CMO City Circle Dr. Saeed Zafar were also present on this occasion.
The provincial advisor expressed his dissatisfaction over the lack of cleanliness and delay in the development schemes of construction of consultant rooms in CMO City Circle office, Extension work of Landhi Hospital and repair of residential flats for doctors and paramedical staff in Valika Hospital.
He further said that 60 percent of industries were in Sindh Province specially in Karachi where thousands of workers were working, and it was mandatory for us to provide high quality medical services to workers.—APP
