It is sad to know that more than 60 persons including police trainees were killed in a recent deadly terror attack on Police Training College, Quetta. The incident is a grim reminder of our ailing security system. Despite the spate of the terror attacks, the international community is yet to wake up to the menace of terrorism. The recent unabated attacks are clearly reflecting Achilles’ heel of the world today with respect to handling terrorism.
One is really at a loss to understand what holds back the countries from getting tough with terror menace. No one wants to see the people being killed by the terrorists. It is time to frame a multi-pronged legal framework to deal with the terror menace.
