Gas supply suspended to KEMU’s doctor hostels

Lahore—For the last one and a half month gas connection of doctors and student hostel of King Edward Medical University (KEMU) has been disconnected due to Orange Line train track construction. As many as 1500 doctors and students were facing great difficulties and cooks of theses hostels are forced to use wood for cooking.
According to details, doctors hostel at hall road and link McLeod road had been facing gas shortage due to construction of orange train line construction.
Doctors of these hostels said that as many as 1500 students were living in these hostels nowadays, are directly affected by this problem.
They said, cooks are forced to use wood for cooking and it’s becoming impossible to provide them to provide cooked food to all residents.
