Lahore—Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will free train 3000 youth in Solar Photovoltic System Power for Generation Course during a year. 6 month duration Solar Training Course has successfully been launched at 17 cities of province of the Punjab.
Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh was addressing a meeting to review the progress of solar technology training course program. Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi and other officers were also present in the meeting.
Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that TEVTA has initiated the project in accordance with the policy of the Govt. of the Punjab to meet the energy needs. The said project would help to boost the image of TEVTA in the whole province of Punjab as it is providing latest technological skills at grass root level in the province.
Chairperson TEVTA further said that this course is successfully running at TEVTA Institutes located at Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwal, Sahiwal, Sheikhpura, Kasur, Taxila, Chakwal, Sargodha, Attock, Bahawalpur, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Khanewal and Muzaffargarh.
