Free Medical Camp in mohmand agency

Bahi Daag (Mohmand Agency)—Pakistan Red Crescent Mohmand Agency branch arranged a free medical camp in the border areas of Khwezai Baizai at Bahi Daag in the Mohmand agency.
The camp was organized with cooperation of local a dministration as well as health department. FC provided security to the free medical staff.
In the camp around 502 around 502 patients were examined and given free medicines. The patients at medical camp were asked to adopt preventive measures to protect themselves from diseases.
Dr Parveez Khan of PRC FATA addressing the camp participants said such camps were meant to provide free treatment to people besides promoting awareness among the people about prevention. Haji Tahir Akbar Mohmand a local elder appreciated the political administration and security forces of the agency, locals, doctors and the paramedical staff for extending support and making the effort a success.
The PRC is trying to establish a welfare health unit in the area very soon, where doctors would also be appointed for free healthcare services to the tribesmen.
Local tribesmen showed gratitude over the free medical camp and demanded that the surgeons and medical specialists should be permanently appointed in the area hospital.
Assistant Political Agent Baizai Pir Abdullah Shah on the occasion appreciated the PRC staff to organize a free medical camp in the backward area.
Commandant 1 wing Lt.Col Imtiaz khan, was also present on the occasion.
