FPSC test centres

The Federal Public Service Commission has only two test centres – Karachi and Sukkur in Sindh – where applicants take part in the test. Due to less test centres of FPSC, a huge number of candidates particularly from under-privileged communities of Sindh find it hard to travel to these cities in order to appear in the written test.
It is estimated that due to inconvenience, more than 60% candidates particularly from the districts: Dadu, Sanghar, Ghotki, Mirpur Khas, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Umer Kot, Tharparkar and other do not even apply for FPSC’s jobs and remained unemployed.
Although candidates had demanded to open more test centres similarly as Sindh Public Service Commission and National Testing Service in Sindh but unfortunately FPSC has not entertained the genuine demand of the candidates. The Chairman of FPSC is requested to open at least one test centre at Hyderabad so that applicants who belong to under-privileged communities of the province could afford to apply for FPSC’s jobs and appear in the written test.
