FPCCI and SAARC Chamber condemn suicide attack

Lahore—Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), SAARC Chamber and entire business community Monday strongly condemned ugly incidents of suicide bomb blasts in the country. In a press statement issued today, Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Adbdul Rauf Alan, Vice President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founder Chairman Pak-US Business Council and Chairman United Business Group, Iftikhar Ali Malik expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the blast at Gulshan-e- Iqbal Park at Allama Iqbal Town here claiming the lives of 71 innocent people and injuring over 320.
FPCCI Chief said that unscrupulous elements have hatched a conspiracy to discourage the smooth flow of foreign investment in different sectors of the country. Iftikhar Malik said that disgruntled elements want to sabotage the peaceful atmosphere in the country through such heinous acts. “Pakistan, in the wake of war on terror, suffered colossal financial loss of around 4$ trillion in terms of infrastructure destruction, buildings, houses, serious setbacks in export”, he said. On behalf of the business community he assured the government of maximum cooperation to thwart the nefarious designs of terrorist elements.
Meanwhile United Business Group (UBS AG) Secretary General ZubairTufail,Chief Spokesman Gulzar Firoz, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Abdul Rahim Jano, Dr. MirzaIkhtiar Baig, Abdul Sami Khan, Anwar Ahmed Khan, Munir Sultan, Waheed Shah and Yahya Polanicondemned the blast at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, Lahore where innocent childern, women and valuable lives of people killed and said that the Terrorists are enemy of humanity. It is the alarming situation for the Government.
They said that the damaging was occurred due to lack of security but these incidents cannot weaken the nation’s will. As terrorism desirous to kill the society and culture in dark but nation is united against the terrorists and at last people will win the war against terrorism and their sacrifice is not in vain. They condoled for the sad demises and pray for good health for wounded people. GulzarFiroz, Chief Spokesman said that all nation is in deep mourns and shock on the incident and it is worst incident of terrorism and terrorists are enemy of humanity. UBG leaders urged the Punjab Government reach the terrorists of the incident and given them exemplary punishment.They prayed that God to grantthe strength to bear this loss and good health to wounded people(Ameen).
