Shikarpur—Four persons were drowned while one of their friend received severe injuries when their motor car went out of control from the driver and fell into the deep ravine full of water along the Shikarpur-Rustam road near villager Boriri in the limits of Rustam police station on Thursday. According to police, the victims were riding in a motor car from Rustam for Thull and Jacobabad after meeting with their friends at Rutam Town when accident occurred.
Four of the friends identified as Jamaluddin Mahar and Shahid Hussain Mughal residents of Jacobabad, Abdul Latif Sarki and Abdul Ghafoor Qureshi residents of tehsil Thul of district Jacobabad were drowned to death while one of their friend named Abdul Qayum Sarki of Thul Town was sustained severe injuries. Receiving the information, the Rustam Police and the villagers of near by village reached on the spot and took out the dead bodies of the four friends and the injured man from the deep ditch water. The police brought the dead bodies and an injured at District Headquarters Hospital [DHQ] Shikarpur and after conducting the legal formalities of postmortem and providing medical treatment of the injured, the bodies and injured were sent to their native town at Thull and Jacobabad city by an ambulance.
