Former World Jr Squash Champion Sohail hospitalised

Lahore—Former World Junior Squash Champion, Sohail Qaisar who is suffering from lung cancer has been hospitalised, following a stroke which paralysed his right side.
“Sohail who is fighting a battle with lung cancer, had a stroke a few days ago in Rawalpindi, where he had gone to see his relatives and has been admitted to Al-Shifa International Hostpital, Islamabad”, said Gogi Allauddin, former world number two player and uncle of Sohail while talking to APP here on Monday.
He disclosed that Sohail from PIA was diagnosed with lung caner few months back and he was under treatment and getting the doze of chemotherapy at Lahore on regular basis.
“With the treatment, he was feeling better but the stroke which left his right side paralysed has made his condition worse”, he said, adding, he is in ICU and doctors are monitoring his condition.—APP
