Food deptt seals two hotels under anti-dengue drive

Rawalpindi—The District Food Department in its ongoing anti-dengue drive on Friday inspected various sites and sealed two hotels for not taking notice of breeding larvae after being informed several times.
District Food Controller, Ijaz Ahmed Sial told APP that department team was on inspection in Sadiqabad area and found large number of dengue larvae in Awami hotel while Imran hotel was sealed in Raja bazaar area.
He said 21 FIRs had been registered against the violators including 15 in Rawal town and 6 in Potohar town area. He further said strict action was being taken against the violators to save masses from the spread of dengue mosquitoes.—APP
