FJWU holds motivation session on mountaineering

Career Counseling Center, (CCC) Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) here organized a motivational session of the mountaineer, Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Dr Abdul Jabbar Bhatti who is the fourth Pakistani to scale the world’s highest peak, the Mount Everest.
The purpose of the session was to introduce the national heroes and acknowledge their struggle and hardships.
FJWU appreciated outstanding achievements of the national hero as a great contribution to keep the green flag high. Abdul Jabbar explained his journey, hardships and training and told he is a true lover of Pakistan and always wants to do something for this beautiful country. He explained that women can play an important role in the society therefore, he came FJWU to share his views.
Col. Jabbar advised the students to be optimistic and not to be disheartened, rather they should trust in Allah Almighty for a successful life. While appreciating, Manager CCC, Prof. Humayun Iqbal said that the motivational session should be regularly arranged at the universities which could be helpful for the students to convert their frustration and anxiety into energies and power. He also thanked the national hero and presented him a university souvenir.—APP
