FIA relieves 13 more officials from service

islamabad—The country’s premier watchdog, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided relieve the services of more than thirteen officials, who have been allegedly involved in malpractices and misuse of their portfolios.
These thirteen officials deputed on sensitive assignments were named for misuse of their official positions and powers.
However influential references and favour-based environment of FIA to facilitate each other despite the facts of their alleged involvement in corruption.
However, the competent authority of FIA finally took the strict action against such officials who were stains on institution’s repute.
According to the office order no. 125/2016 issued on May 27, 2016 with signature of Nawaz-ul-Haq Nadeem, Deputy Director (Establishment), the copy of which is available with Pakistan Observer (PO) revealed that two Sub-Inspectors (SIs), nine F.C and two Head Constables (HC) from Rawalpindi-Islamabad zone have been relieved from their services with immediate effect and directed them to report FIA Headquarters.
Director FIA, Mazhar-ul-Haq Kakakhel in an official communication No. DIZ-32/2016/2411 on dated 26 April, 2016 requested the competent authorities to get thirteen officials of Islamabad zone back to FIA headquarters, adding “Consequent upon the request of Director FIA, Islamabad Zone, the following officials of FIA Islamabad Zone are closed to FIA HQ with immediate effect”, official order stated.The officials who have been relieved from services in Islamabad Zone and sent to headquarters as punishment are named Addel Hassan, Sub-Inspector (SI) and Aurangzeb Satti SI and Bilal Ahmed, Foot Constable (FC) who were deputed in Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC), Islamabad Zone, Tariq Azad, Head Constable (HC) and Zafar Hayat HC from Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIAP) Islamabad and nine officials named Faisal Aziz, Sami Ullah, Naheed Akhtar, Mehboob Elahi, Jabbar Haider, Ch. Nadeem, Muhammad Idrees and Jamil Khatak having portfolio of Foot Constable (FC)FC and deputed on Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIAP) Islamabad.
A senior official of FIA headquarters on condition not to be named told this scribe that despite issuing the office order on 27 May, 2016, all the above mentioned officials were yet to report to HQ and they are trying to use influential references for reversal of orders.
Another senior official of Inspector rank named Raja Wajid Hussain was also sent to FIA headquarters was revived of service.
According to another recent notification having official number, DIZ/Admin/M-32/2016/2360-70 issued on dated April 22, 2016 with signature of newly appointed zonal director for twin cities (Rawalpindi-Islamabad) Dr. Mazhar-ul-Haq Kakakhel, four staff members of FIA including Sub-Inspector (SI) Humera Arbab, SI Iftikhar Naseeb, Foot Constable (FC) Zain Ali Naqi and FC Zeeshan, who have already been facing the charges of corrupt practices have reposted in the departments, which are known as the ATM machine of the agency.
In the name of various charges, these four staff members of the agency as punishment were sent to zonal headquarter FIA, Islamabad, however in connivance of admin office FIA to remove the barrier of “close of zonal HQ”, SI Humera Arbab and SI Iftikhar Naseeb were appointed on immigration desk of Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIAP), while FC Zain Ali Naqi and FC Zeeshan were posted at Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) located in Islamabad and Rawalpindi respectively.
