FIA arrests two notorious human traffickers


Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two notorious human traffickers Anees Ahmed and Sagheer Ahmed red handed while taking extortion money from the heirs of for the release of Sambrial based youth Akram, as the accused had sent him to Azerbaijan illegally eleventh days ago where their companion had abducted the youth in Azerbaijan for ransom, demanding Rs. 1.8 million from his grieved family in Sambrial-Sialkot here.
Khalid Anees , FIA Divisional Deputy Director, told that the Bhopalwala-Sambrial based notorious human traffickers Anees Ahmed and Sagheer Ahmed had sent local widow Suraya Bibi’s young son Akram to Azerbaijan via Dubai from Pakistan through Sialkot international airport illegally after taking Rs. 250000 from the widow on October 13,. FIA Deputy Director added that when the youth Akram reached Azerbaijan, the accused human trafficker Zubair Warraich kidnapped him there and demanded Rs. 1.8 million from his family for his release.
Kidnapper Zubair’s companions Anees and Sagheer in Sambrial struck a deal with the widow and demanded the Rs 150000 as first installment. The accused called the widow Suraya Bibi from Sambrial to Kinara Hotel near Gujrat with money. Where, The FIA officials arrested red handed both the accused Anees and Sagheer while talking the extortion money from the widow. Khalid Anees added that the FIA has sent the accused behind the bars, after registering a case against them. Further investigations were underway, in this regard.—INP
