FGEI students awarded medals, certificates

An All Pakistan Excellence Awards Ceremony was held at FG Sir Syed Public School, Rawalpindi, under the auspices of Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments/Garrisons) Directorate on Friday.
Inspector General Training & Evaluation Lieutenant General Hidayat-ur Rehman, HI (M) graced the occasion as chief guest. Director General Human Resource Directorate Major General Zafar ul Haq HI (M), Director Federal Government Educational Institutions Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Asif Iqbal, GSO-I of the Regional Offices, Principals, Teachers and students attended the ceremony.
In the simple but dignified ceremony, students who performed exceptionally well in curricular activities at Federal Government Educational Institutions functioning under the supervision of regional offices of Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Chaklala, Wah, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur, Kharian and Sir Syed School of Special Education were awarded medals and certificates.
To recognize the outstanding achievements of students in the Board and University Examinations, Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments/Garrisons) Directorate holds such ceremonies on annual basis at regional and All Pakistan Levels.
A special feature of All Pakistan Excellence Awards Ceremony was that these brilliant students were also awarded cash prizes so that they might strive to excel even further.
On this occasion, students who performed exceptionally well at Primary and Middle Standard Scholarship Exam were awarded for their hard work. Moreover, high achievers in Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science, Arts Group and those who performed meritoriously at BA and B Sc levels were also awarded prizes in their respective categories.—INP
