Extremists to be followed to their last abodes: Jhagra

Peshawar—The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, has expressed the determination to follow extremists involved in heinous acts of terrorism to their last abodes The Governor who paid an emergent visit of area where innocent people were targeted in Jumma congregation while offering prayers, was addressing a big tribal Jirga at village Payee Khan in Anbar Tehsil of Mohamand Agency on Saturday. The Governor offered Fateha for the eternal peace of martyrs and prayed for early recovery of the injured. Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra also announced to provision of jobs to one decedent of each bread earner who had been martyred in the terrorist attack and ensure provision of free of cost treatment facilities to all the injured. Beside this, the Governor also delivered cheques amounting to Rs 0.4 million to the respective family of each martyred while Rs 0.15 million to each injured to the affected families. Later on the Governor went to the Agency Headquarter Hospital, Bajaur where he enquired after the health of each and every injured and wished their early recovery. He also promised to share significantly in reconstruction of the masjid, destroyed in the terrorist attack. Meanwhile responding to various points raised by the local elders, the Governor also announced to take necessary steps for construction of a primary school and a road link at village Payee khan in Mohmand Agency.
