Extremists planning 1947 Jammu massacre in Kashmir Valley

Srinagar—The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyet leaders have lambasted the puppet Forest Minister Chaudhary Lal Singh for his threatening remarks against Muslims of Jammu.
Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the outburst made by the puppet BJP minister was the perfect reflection of the communal mindset of RSS and the Sang Parivar. He pointed out that Hindu extremist forces were practically waiting for repeat of 1947 like bloodshed of innocent Muslims in Jammu region. He held pro-India parties like National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party responsible for the pathetic condition of the Kashmiri people.
The APHC Secretary General, Shabbir Ahmad Shah interacting with a delegation of Akali Dal Man in Srinagar hailed the Sikh community for foiling conspiracies hatched by former Governor Jagmohan and other Indian officials, which were aimed at creating a rift between Sikh and Muslim communities in the occupied territory. The delegation was led by Gurdeep Singh Man.
The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik while addressing a seminar in Srinagar opposed the construction of composite townships for Kashmiri Pandits. He termed the proposed townships as ‘townships of hatred.’ APHC leader Javaid Ahmad Mir and members of Sikh and Pandit communities including Jagmohan Singh Raina, N B Vishan and Pandit Shukla also addressed the function.
Speakers at a function organized by Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement in Rajouri urged the political leadership of India and Pakistan to take bold initiatives for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The High Court Bar Association in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed to the Chief Justice of the territory’s High Court to order probe by a neutral body into the killing of five youth by Indian troops in a fake encounter in Kupwara. Meanwhile, four personnel of Indian police and army including an officer were killed in attacks in Srinagar and Kupwara districts.—KMS
