Expatriate’s shop worth Rs9m vacated

Owning to efforts by the Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), a shop belonging to an expatriate Pakistani worth Rs 9 million has been got vacated from the illegal possession.
Vice Chairperson OPC, Shaheen Khalid Butt said that Muhammad Hanif settled in Kuwait lodged a complaint with the OPC that some persons have illegally occupied his shop situated in Factory Area, Faisalabad.
The OPC referred the complaint to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC), Faisalabad and after the efforts of members of DOPC, the said shop was got vacated and handed over to its owner.
Shaheen Khalid Butt further said that OPC was playing an active role to address the issues faced by Overseas Pakistanis and they can contact, OPC, any time, for the solution of their complaints.
