LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab President Rana Sanaullah said that the establishment is ready not to forget the roles of May 9th, not to forgive them.
“There are no PTI voters in Punjab, the anti-America voter is with the PTI but its foundation is the cipher,” said Rana Sanaullah while talking to a local private TV.
The PML-N leader said that there is a limit to protest, if it crosses the limit, the right cannot be achieved. He said that picking up arms and running on the state cannot be ignored and such ground cannot demand protection.
Rana Sanaullah said that the action should be taken against all those involved in May 9 incidents.
He likened the PTI to the Taliban, saying if the Taliban wanted to contest elections somewhere, should permission be given to them?
PTI is standing where it was on May 9th, PTI was excluded from the elections by the Election Commission, the Supreme Court maintained it. He said that there is less democracy in the political parties of the country and all the political parties should arrange for fair inter-party elections.
He said that whoever condemned May 9th in press conferences, the PML-N did not give them a ticket, adding that they are winning in 8 out of 10 national seats in Faisalabad, there will be a contest on 3 national assembly seats in Faisalabad.
Rana Sanaullah said that the PPP is funding some independent candidates, most of the PPP’s votes have gone to the PTI, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is speaking against the PML-N to influence the voters. He said that the PPP made a firm deal with the independent candidates, Bilawal Bhutto is trying to bring independent candidates together.
He asked as why was 58-2B not abolished? It should have been abolished, most of the PPP’s votes have gone to the PTI, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is speaking against the PML-N to influence the voters.
“Bilawal is trying to prove that they are an alternative to Nawaz Sharif, whether the voters believe this or not will be known on February 8th,” he added.
The PML-N, he said, would win elections from all over Lahore except for one or two seats, there are still voters of the party in Lahore.
