Entrepreneurship trend increasing in youths

Karachi—President, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi Prof. Dr Zubair Shaikh on Sunday said that entrepreneurship trend is now increasing in our youth on completion of their education rather than wasting the time for search of employment.
He hoped that a lot of business and employment opportunities will be available to our youths on completion of our economic development project China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
These views he expressed while he was addressing to the parents of students about the academic program of the university at the time of pre-admission test for next semester SPRING-2017 held at University campus, a press release said.
Associate Deans Dr. Asim Imdad and Dr. Shujaat Mubarak, Head of Computer Science Department Dr. Shoukat Wasi and Director Student Affairs Ahmer Umer were also present on this occasion. Dr. Zubair Shaikh expresses his satisfaction over the encouraging response on Ph D program launched during current semester.
He said that majority of the students is now interested to take admission in our Ph D program which shows that our students are taking keen interest in research activities. He told that we have also launched BS (Accounting and Finance) from next semester with the guideline provided by Higher Education Commission (HEC).
He said that on completion of this four year degree academic program, the students will be treated as certified accountant. He informed that a huge amount is spent by the students for obtaining SAP professional training but we have included it in our curriculum to save them from such expenses.
