Enmity claims life

A man was shot dead over an old enmity, in the area of Rodala police station on Saturday. According to police, Faqeer Hussain (50) resident of Chak No.28-GB had an old rivalry with Imran, Babar and Shahid etc. of the same locality. In a fit of grudge, Imran and his accomplices allegedly opened indiscriminate fire at Faqeer Hussain and fled the scene. Faqeer Hussain received serious injuries and died on the spot. The police shifted the corpse to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Jaranwala for postmortem and started investigation. A case has been registered against the accused. Meanwhile, a teenaged boy was found murdered in fields, in the precincts of Khurarianwala police station. According to police, Abdur Rehman (15) of Chak No.73-RB was allegedly killed by Akmal, Imran Sajid, etc. of the same locality. The accused took the boy to fields and slit his throat with a sharp-edged weapon and threw his body in the fields after commiting unnatural offence.—APP
