Eight killed in various incidents

Abbottabad—Three tourists were died when their speedy motorcar skid and fell down hundreds feet deep ditch near at Bagnotor on Abbottabad-Nathiagali road when the ill-fated tourists were coming back from Nathiagali to Abbottabad on Sunday.
Rescue 1122 emergency squad ambulances which are deployed on 3 points on Abbottabad-Muree road were first to pick the injured Musaddaq, Asim Manzoor and Imran Iqbal with the help of locals shifted the injured to Ayub Medical Complex. During shifting two were died on their way while third injured in critical condition later died in hospital.
Meanwhile, INP reported that five persons were killed while over 41 were injured from aerial firings on the Independence Day in Multan and Karachi while dozens of others were injured in Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Sunday.
Police said that accused Nadeem opened heavy aerial firing during a cake cutting ceremony organized to mark the Independence Day in Basti Malook of Multan.
Two including a child Irfan and another person Saleem Rajab Awan were critically injured. Both were rushed to hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.—INP
