Eight boggies of passenger train derail

A train carrying passengers from Karachi to Peshawar derailed near Sann, a rural town in Jamshoro district, in the early hours on Thursday. According to the police, 8 boggies of the Khushhal Khan Khattak Express derailed, however, no major loss had been reported as only 2 passengers were slightly injured.
Due to the accident, the other trains heading to Karachi from the upcountry were stopped at Aamri railway station as both the tracks were closed. The authorities have launched investigations into the incident that happened days after eight bogies of Peshawar-bound Khushal Khan Khattak Express derailed near Sohan Bridge and Makhad Road Railway Station.—INP
