Efforts being made to ensure good governance in Sindh

The participants of 74th Pre Service Course for Provincial Management Services of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa called on Sindh Chief Secretary here on Wednesday.
The Chief Secretary informed the training officers that all out efforts were being made to ensure good governance in Sindh, said a statement.
He maintained that the Commissioner Karachi and other relevant officers on the orders of Sindh Chief Minister are conducting inquiry regarding fire fighting, disaster and other rescue arrangements in hotels, besides the inquiry report regarding the causes of fire which erupted Regent Plaza, was being submitted to the CM.
In response to a question of a participant, Chief Secretary said that Wind Power Project of 400 MW at Thatta is waiting for connectivity from WAPDA while other necessary arrangements are also being made to activate the Project.
Earlier, Secretary Implementation & Coordination, made a presentation on the status and functions of Services General Administration & Coordination Department. Secretary Services Sajid Jamal Abro and Secretary General
Administration Saeed were also present on the occasion.
