Edhi’s social services should be included in syllabus, suggests Chandio

Karachi—Advisor to the Sindh Chief Minister on Information and Archives, Moula Bux Chandio visited late legendary social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi’s office in Mithadar area of Karachi on Monday and expressed condolence with Faisal Edhi on the demise of his father.
He remained with Faisal Edhi for some time and extended sympathy to him and his family members. He also assured him that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government would continue its support to Edhi Foundation for social and humanitarian services besides carrying on Edhi’s mission of serving humanity.
Talking to media on the occasion, Moula Bux Chandio said that Abdul Sattar Edhi was a legendary social leader and a great philanthropist of Pakistan. Edhi was the son of Sindh and we are much thankful to his services. He said that Edhi will be remembered for centuries for his noble services.
He said that Abdul Sattar Edhi was a great social leader of Pakistan; therefore, his social services should be incorporated in education syllabus.
To a question, he said that we will make a big decision about support to Edhi Foundation after return of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The adviser lauded General Raheel Sharif for eliminating terrorism. “We are thankful to General Raheel Sharif for this act and salute him for this achievement. We respect him and people also have great respect for him,” Chandio said.
He said that we had welcomed and praised General Raheel Sharif when he had made announcement about his voluntarily retirement time, which was a daring one.
Chandio flayed the federal government for carrying worst load shedding in Sindh, which had crossed all its limits. He said that Federal State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali had failed to control prolonged load shedding as he seemed helpless in this regard.—INP
