Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has speed up its efforts to register maximum number of voters in the agency for the upcoming general and announced to register maximum new voters in Bajaur Agency Talking to APP here on Thursday, Agency Election Officer Falak Naz said that a total of 93,844 new voters had been registered in the electoral rolls of two National Assembly constituencies NA 43 and NA 44 after 2013 general election.
He told that the ECP was making all out efforts to register all the residents of agency both male and female as voters for the 2018 general election. He informed that total number of registered voters for NA 43 is 205,733 among which 120,163 were male voters while 85,570 female voters. Likewise, he said that the total number of registered voters for NA 44 was 2, 29072 including 138,366 male and 90,706 female.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has established a control room at ECP Secretariat to receive NA-120 polling day complaints. According to an official of ECP, the control room which was established under the Supervision of Additional Director General (Elections) will also receive preliminary result of bye-election of constituency NA-120 Lahore-III, being held on September 17.—APP
