Karachi—Governor Sindh, Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan here on Wednesday visited the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS). He went round the ICU, OT Complex, Cath Lab, automated pathology lab and other sections.
Ebad said that the DUHS has emerged as the state-of-the-art health centre where facilities like OPD to operation theatres are available under one roof. He was of the view that the DUHS has now become a brand and it has attained new successes in the realms of healthcare.
Governor pointed out that the Ojha Camps is a 500-bed hospital and diagnostic tests etc are a ray of hope for the poor patients. The Acting Vice-Chancellor of DUHS, Prof. Masood Hameed, was also present on the occasion along with other officials concerned.
Governor also visited various areas in the metropolis and reviewed the pace of development works. He said that after restoration of law and order in the city, the pace of development works is being enhanced.
Ebad said that owing to Karachi operation the hustle bustle in the metropolis is being restored. He said that the operation would continue till the achievement of logical end.
