Dry weather likely during next few days

Islamabad—Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Wednesday forecast dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. “The weather would remain dry in most parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next few days and no rain is expected”, the met office said. The synoptic situation indicated the prevalence of continental air over most parts of the country however a shallow westerly wave was present over extreme northern parts of the country. The rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Drosh 03mm.
The lowest minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Kalat 00 C, Kalam 02 C, Quetta, Astore 03 C, Dir and Rawalakot 04 C. Meanwhile, Karachi Meteorological Department on forecast mostly sunny weather for Karachi during the next 24 hours. An official of the Met. Office said maximum temperature in the metropolis is expected to remain between 32 and 34 degrees Centigrade during the period with 60 to 70 per cent humidity.
Hot and dry weather with misty morning is likely in the most parts of the province during the next 24 hours. The Quetta Met Office has forecast a dry and cold weather for the provincial capital during next 24 hours.—APP
