Dry weather to continue

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while, light rain is likely at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan in next 24 hours. Foggy conditions to continue over few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours during this time span. A shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP. In last 24 hours weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country.
The Bahawalpur Met Office has forecast dry and cold weather for the metropolis during next 24 hours. On Monday, maximum and minimum temperature were recorded 31 and 16 degree Centigrade in the city. The Met Office has also forecast dry weather for other parts of the region during next 24 hours. Minimum temperatures recorded on Monday were Skardu -06°C, Kalat -04°C, Quetta -03°C, Gilgit -01°C, Chitral 00°C, Dir 01°C, Murree 02°C, Islamabad 05°C, Muzaffarabad 06°C, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Lahore 08°C, Multan 10°C and Karachi, Hyderbad 16°C.—APP
