Dry to partly cloudy weather expected

The local Met Office Wednesday forecast dry to partly cloudy weather for city and adjoining areas during next 24 hours. On Wednesday, highest maximum temperature 42C and the lowest minimum 26C were recorded in the city. The Provincial Met Office Wednesday predicted cloudy weather with gusty winds for most parts of Khyber Pakhtukhwa.
However thunderstorm-rain associated with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kohistan, Haripur, Battagram, Torghar and Shangla districts during next 24 hours. The city received heavy rain on Wednesday which turned weather pleasant.
According to the Met Office, the temperature has been recorded 33 degrees centigrade and humidity level in the air was 59 per cent.
The rainwater gathered at different places, including Ramtali, Hakeem Khadam Ali Road, Rangpura etc.
Weather for the last 24 hours remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower occurred at isolated places in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Malakand, Hazara, Kohat Divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Rain recorded at this time remained: Islamabad (Saidpur, 39mm, ZP 38mm, AP 21mm, Golra 18mm, Bokra 02mm), Rawalpindi (Shamsabad 39mm, Chaklala 28mm).—APP
