Drizzle expected in parts of country

Islamabad—Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted drizzle in some areas of the country including the provincial capital on Saturday. According to a spokesman for PMD, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A westerly wave is expected to affect upper/central parts of the country during next 24 hours and likely to persist till Saturday. Mainly cold weather with partly cloudy conditions is expected in north Baluchistan and upper parts of the country.
Light rain-thunderstorm with snow over the hills is expected at isolated places in Malakand division, upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Friday. Cloudy weather conditions with chances of light rain- thunderstorm and snow over the hills is expected at scattered places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan,KP,FATA, while at isolated places in Rawalpindi,Gujranwala,Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions and Islamabad on Saturday.—APP
