Dolphin Force foils bank robbery arrests six

The Punjab Dolphin Force foiled a bank robbery bid worth million of rupees in Green Town area of the capital city on Sunday and arrested six including security guard.
In connivance of the security guard, five robbers broke into the bank after breaking the locks and sprayed paint on the CCTV camera before breaking the lockers inside the bank.
However, upon receiving a tip, vigilant squads of Dolphin Force and Police Response Unit (PRU) cordoned off the bank and later nabbed all the robbers and security guard.
A total of 90 million rupees in foreign and local currency and 20kg of gold (in jewelry) was recovered from the robbers who were being interrogated after registering a case against them.—INP
