DN blames KP govt for not releasing funds

Abbottabad—District Nazim Abbottabad Sardar Sher Bahadar has said that for the development of Abbottabad District, provincial government, district council and Tehsils councils should be one page otherwise, it will be total failure and the rest of responsibility will lies on the provincial government.
Speaking at the occasion District Nazim told that provincial government is not releasing the required funds for Abbottabad district and their steps taken against the district and Tehsil councils are clear violation of the basic rights. He said that public is losing faith and confidence on the provincial government for its negative role in the development of Abbottabad district as they are creating hurdles and problems to fulfil the demands of the people of the area.
This he said while addressing as chief guest at the reception arranged by the Anjuman-e-Sheryan Abbottabad which was largely attended by the Tehsil Nazim, Tehsil and district council members, office bearers of different trade and other organizations including Khateeb Markazi Jamia Masjid.
Earlier president of the Anjuman, Malik Sajjad proposed the formation of city planning commission comprises of elected members of three union councils of the city including members of bar club, press club and notables of the area who will put forward proposals to solve the long outstanding problems of the city.
Fake oil factory: Tehsil Nazim Abbottabad Muhammad Ishaque alongwith officials of food department and police have sealed the factory in Salhad where cooking oil was made from the intestines and waste of animals. Police has arrested all the four persons red handed and were booked under food adulteration act.
Huge quantity of Oil was seized with recovery of waste of animals collected from different garbage dumps and from meat and mutton market.
The said factory was established adjacent to the main filth depot at Salhad and the cooked oil was supplied to different hotels and restaurants especially the Kabab and pakroa shops in the city.
Police and TMA officials has razed the factory and four accused were arrested identified as Bahadar Ali, Zubair Khan, Shafqat Ali, Khan Namrood and Iqbal and were booked under section273,269 and 6/23. It should be noted that some time back, the owner of the factory was arrested on the same charges but later was released and he started again this business.
