Disarranged democracy

Gul Jan S Abrahim

The catastrophic poverty has brought Pakistan to fight various critical issues and conditions. Approximately, 7 million Pakistanis are living below the poverty line which has also put great effect on the economy of Pakistan resulting inflation in the country. Lack of food, shelter and other biological needs have been the problems of the public ever since the PPP came into being. It is too hard for a common individual to get three times food. They even can’t carry the liabilities of their children’s education, health and protection of their lives.
One of the most famous examples of that is high fee structure of public schools where parents can’t afford due to joblessness. In today’s Pakistan about 4 million children between the age of 7 to 14 years are doing hard labour to earn money which later turns them into criminals and extremists. The problem has already resulted in a number of problems but, if this issue is still not resolved, it may cause a huge problem for the whole nation. The government is supposed to take very solid measures to solve this issue at the earliest to save the country.
