DFP vows to continue peaceful freedom struggle

Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has reiterated its pledge to continue peaceful struggle till India acknowledges the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir and takes steps for its settlement. The DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir would never surrender before New Delhi’s oppression at all costs.
Declaring full support to the programme issued by the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), he appealed to the people to make successful the ‘Jamia Chalo’ call tomorrow.
He strongly condemned the use of force on people in Srinagar by forces, saying to suppress the people’s sentiments through might won’t help India in any way. “In fact, New Delhi and its collaborators must change their approach to analyse the people’s sentiments,” he said.—KMS
