Despite party pressure, Zulfi not to contest by-election from NA-53

Emerging leader of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf from the capital city, Zulfi Bokhari has said that he does not have any intention to contest general elections from any seat vacated by PTI Chairman Imran Khan. Zulfi Bokhari is the close aide of Imran Khan and has been incharge of his electioneering from NA-53. In result of his pragmatic and dynamic electioneering scheme and door to door campaign, Imran Khan could win election from NA-53.
PTI local organization is exalted over his performance as incharge electioneering and demands of party to award him party ticket in by election from the seat likely to be vacated by Imran Khan, NA-53. “Currently my main focus on the activities of public welfare in humanitarian related projects therefore I am not intending to contest general elections” he said while talking to Pakistan Observer here on Friday. He further said that he would continue working for a new and progressive Pakistan in shoulder to shoulder with Imran Khan in future as a party worker selflessly.
To a question about reports circulating in media, he said that some TV anchorpersons were habitual of making hype on petty issues and their comments and observations sometimes demonstrate their personal vendetta against people.
